Going abroad

Expand Your Horizon

Gain a lifetime of experience,by spending some time abroad

Spending some time abroad is an excellent way to gain invaluable experience for both your personal and professional life.

It gives you the opportunity to get to know and familiarize yourself with the language, culture, academic and general way of life in your host country.

TUM School of Management offers students a wide range of options for studying and spending time abroad – above all, our own exchange program: TUM SOMex (incl. ERASMUS+).

TUM SOMex (incl. ERASMUS+):
exchange partnerships with worldwide destinations

For TUM SOMex (incl. ERASMUS+), TUM School of Management cooperates directly with more than 90 leading business schools and faculties at renowned universities all around the world. The international exchanges organized by our program are exclusive to students of TUM School of Management.

Exchanges with institutions in other European countries (all member states of the European Union plus Turkey, Iceland and Norway) are also part of the ERASMUS+ program. Additionally, we are able to offer exchanges to non-European destinations for example Australia, China, Marocco or Brazil via bilateral partnerships.
